Words to know:

Repentance:

There are three Greek words used in the New Testament to denote repentance.

(1.) The verb metamelomai is used of a change of mind, such as to produce regret or even remorse on account of sin, but not necessarily a change of heart. This word is used with reference to the repentance of Judas (Matt. 27:3).

(2.) Metanoeo, meaning to change one's mind and purpose, as the result of after knowledge. This verb, with (3) the cognate noun metanoia , is used of true repentance, a change of mind and purpose and life, to which remission of sin is promised.

Evangelical repentance consists of (1) a true sense of one's own guilt and sinfulness; (2) an apprehension of God's mercy in Christ; (3) an actual hatred of sin (Ps. 119:128; Job 42:5, 6; 2 Cor. 7:10) and turning from it to God; and (4) a persistent endeavor after a holy life in a walking with God in the way of his commandments.

The true penitent is conscious of guilt (Ps. 51:4, 9), of pollution (51:5, 7, 10), and of helplessness (51:11; 109:21, 22). Thus he apprehends himself to be just what God has always seen him to be and declares him to be. But repentance comprehends not only such a sense of sin, but also an apprehension of mercy, without which there can be no true repentance (Ps. 51:1; 130:4).

"Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made" Gen 2:3 (NASB)

And it continues...

Welcome to End of Day 7, a ministry of Z. Here it is my hope and hopefully the will of God that you have come across this site seeking knowledge about the Word of God, and how it applies to you. It is my humble honor to glorify the Lord by teaching on this web site. I hope and pray that you will be strengthened and humbled in your faith by what you learn on this site. You may be wondering why I chose "End of Day 7" as the name of the site. Well let me explain briefly, and you can read a more in-depth reason here at my About Z Ministries page. (Ironically enough, it is not finished yet)

I love to study about our Lord. His life, his death, his message, and his undying love for us. I also love reading about when our Lord will return to earth and set up his Kingdom.Did you know that all the creation days except the 7th has been completed and we are still in the day of rest of our Creator? We read in Genesis 2:3 that He blessed the 7th day, but did not end it yet. So what does that mean? Well, when the Lord decides to end the seventh day, only then is it completed, and our Lord will return. Praise God!

Quick update: Site is about 60% complete. The Jesus Christ section is 95% completed. Also the links page is now updated and ready to be used. Please head over to the Jesus Christ section and check out the new study on the Angel of Jehovah. Also, the link to at the top of the page regarding the Gen 2:3 quote from scripture has been changed regarding where the link takes you. It now leads you over to Reason's to Believe article on creation, which gives a more educated approach to the age old controversy concerning the creation days. Last but not least, the Christian News section has been re-opened, and we are getting hourly updates. The various other sections of the news, and End-Time News will start being updated hourly by the end of this week, and the End-Times section will be unveiled hopefully in the next several weeks as well. As always, please send me any suggestions by clicking here.

Come just as you are to Worship

"Come, Just as you are to worship, come, just as you are before your God, come."

God, our Lord Jesus Christ, wants each of us to come before him and worship as we are! He wants you to come into his presence with your praise in your shorts, your sandals, your t-shirts, your earrings, your tattoos, but most of all, he wants you to worship him with the right heart. Worship is not only for Sunday mornings and evenings. We should want to worship in our car, our living rooms, our bedrooms, and even in the shower. We should want to shout and sing our praise to him every day, I think he has done more than enough for us.

Think about that.

I would like to take a moment and thank everyone in advance who has contributed to this new Ministry. This is like a dream come true and I could have not done this alone. Thank you all for being so supportive, and I think you all deserve the world. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! God Bless my friends.

Mel Gibson's "The Passion" of Jesus Christ will be hitting theatres near you on Feb. 25, 2004!
